I met and became friends with Dave Talbot. Dave was not very computer literate and I was able to help him find his way around the AOL and the Internet. For several years Dave and I were both members of Mike Longo's Daylily chatroom and it was there that Dave would often come to chat acting out his “character for the night”. Dave was a great comedian, and I will always remember the laughs we had in late night chat. Dave was also a renowned hybridizer and a minister. In memory of Dave, I have named this daylily using his chat name TRAINROBBER.

A Special Fall 2009 Introduction
6 inch clear cream with a dark purple pattered eye and a double edge of purple and creamy gold. 32 inch scapes have 4 way braching, 32 buds. Both pod and pollen fertile. An evergreen early to midseason repeat bloomer that produces perfect blooms all season long. Excellent for hybridizing because of its clear base color and double edge.
