I have bloomed quite a few seedlings from ALIQUIPPA, this is my favorite. A hard dormant that grows well in my zone 8a garden. The blooms are large, measuring 7 inches and have a heavy substance. They are a clean bright yellow color with a green throat. The edges of both the petals and sepals have yellow teeth. It is an early to midseason repeat bloomer. The scapes are 30 inches with 3 to 4 way branching, 20 buds. The pollen parent was a bright yellow Earl Watts seedling that was round in form with heavy substance. It is very easy pod and pollen fertile and is a good parent for teethy seedlings. A special thanks to Julia Baxter for sharing ALIQUIPPA with me.
